The purpose of this section is to direct attention to political action items affecting the horse community on the local, state and national level, with a special emphasis on trails access, zoning issues, and preservation of the rights of equestrians and ranch property owners. Please help restore the last remaining wild horse herd in Southern California to their native habitat. Lets see how far this email can go-Please send it on to everyone possible.

The California State Horsemen's Association is taking the lead in sponsoring legislation to restore the last remaining heard of wild horses in Southern California back to their home.

SB 1294 will be heard, Tuesday, April 13. So please send your letters as soon as possible.

Your letters faxed to Senator Morrows Office (Fax 916-446-7382) as well as a copy to the Senate Natural Resources and Wildlife Committee (Fax 916-323-2232) will make a difference in helping these horses be returned, even if you live out of California. Also, if you can attend the hearing on Tuesday, April 13th in Sacramento, PLEASE DO. "THE SENATOR REALLY NEEDS A SHOW OF SUPPORT AT THE HEARING SO PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO BE THERE. THE HEARING IS IN ROOM 112 AND STARTS AT 8:30 AM!"
