The California State Horsemen's Association
is taking the lead in sponsoring legislation to restore the last
remaining heard of wild horses in Southern California back to
their home.
SB 1294 will be heard, Tuesday, April 13. So
please send your letters as soon as possible.
Your letters faxed to Senator Morrows Office
(Fax 916-446-7382) as well as a copy to the Senate Natural
Resources and Wildlife Committee (Fax 916-323-2232) will make a
difference in helping these horses be returned, even if you live
out of California. Also, if you can attend the hearing on Tuesday,
April 13th in Sacramento, PLEASE DO. "THE SENATOR REALLY
NEEDS A SHOW OF SUPPORT AT THE HEARING SO PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT
TO BE THERE. THE HEARING IS IN ROOM 112 AND STARTS AT 8:30
AM!"
